CronLab has released version 2.1 of its Hosted Web Filter, providing several important upgrades

CronLab Web Filter 2.1 key features

• User and group management is now also available over LDAP/Kerberos, compatible with Windows Active Directory, OpenLDAP, Zimbra etc
• Authentication is now handled over Digest as well as over Kerberos Negotiation
• Statistics reports can now be subscribed to for regular delivery over email
• Unlockable (Soft Block) sites can now be fully permitted outside office hours (as defined by the administrators)
• URL categorization engine changed to zvelo for optimized functionality not only in Europe but globally
